Little Throwback form debs in August

Hey guys.. Sorry I haven't posted in what feels like forever (to me anyway) I've just been really busy with college work I've been finding it hard to fit it all in! The last post I posted was a Fitness Friday post which are usually short but that one was extremely short so I thought we'd have a bit of a catch up/ November Natter. So go on.. Grab a cup of tea or a nice big mug of hot chocolate! :)

So how have you all been? I hope you're doing very well! I've been super busy and super stressed! :( We're coming to the end of the semester in uni so therefore.. assignments are due and exams are soon approaching (hence why I've not been blogging recently). I've a very large accounting case study to have in for the 25th of this month and me being me decided to do it on excel so that it would be worth more marks. So yesterday I was working away on it for most of the day (I had 1 lecture) and what ever I did to try to save my work it didn't save properly so I had lost ALL the work I'd done that day and have to start all of that again! :( So Super stressed Niamh! As this happened you can probably tell I wont have much time for blogging because I NEED to get this done ASAP! I'll try to do 2 posts each week up unitl the 25th (when I hand in the assignment) and then hopefully I'll be able to try balance the study for my exams and blogging a bit better!

I'm still unsure if I will do Blogmas this year.. I do want to but I may not have the time to.. I might try write short little posts until December 14th (when my exams finish). Then start doing longer ones or else I'll do a 10 day count down to Christmas from when I finish my exams because I wont really be doing anything Christmassy before that, except filming a Merry Christmas Message to my friend (you know who you are, if you bother to read this! :P). I do have some Christmassy posts planned once we hit December but they may or may not be separate to what ever Christmas series I decided to do!

Let me know in the comments what posts you think I should do! :) Or leave any other suggestions! ALSO! Tell me what you've been up to the last almost week! I want to know ow ye've been! :)

So as it's Halloween, and Thursday I decided to share with you some of my old Halloween costumes from when I was a child! :)
Hope you enjoy me embarrassing myself!

I don't know how old I am here, but I was pretty young so it's your standard throw a mask on a child and your outfits complete! :P

I hope you're ready for this next one cause I'm not sure I want this on the internet.. Butttt I'm pretty sure it's already been on Facebook so here goes nothing....

Yeaaaahh.. Do I even need to say anything here?? Basically my cousins birthday is on Halloween and she was having a birthday party and everyone had to dress up (she's 3 years younger than me btw) and then this happened.. Don't you just LOVE my spider web tights?? :/

Well that was actually the only photos I could find of me for Halloween... So as this would be a super short post I decided to do the YouTube Halloween Tag, but blog style.. Hope you enjoy!

1) Are you dressing up this year?

At the minute no, as I'm not fully sure what I'm doing, but if i was it would be something pretty simple.

2) Is your go-to Halloween look funny, scary, sexy, etc?

It's basic.. Would probably consist of a shirt and nerd glasses.. or some eyeliner to make myself into a cat! (So original I know lol)

3) What is your favorite Halloween tutorial, on either youtube or blog?

I have to admit MacBarbie07's Minion Tutorial was pretty amazing

4) What is your favorite childhood costume, and what is your most embarrassing childhood costume?

Most embarrassing hmmm.. That's already been covered I think... (above)

5) Are you going trick or treating?

I would absolutely love to go around the student accommodation from University trick or treating this year just for the laugh and to see how many people would just laugh and turn us away! :P But thats not going to happen! :(

6) Do you throw and/or attend Halloween parties?

Neither really.. I've only been to a few.. and they were mainly my cousins Halloween birthday parties as mentioned above.

7) Do you decorate your home? Inside, outside or both?

We used to decorate it a lot when we were younger but not anymore as we rarely get trick or treaters any more, though one year we were building an extension and the old part of the house has to be re-plastered so all the walls had massive lines/ cracks outside which was pretty creepy for Halloween! :P

8) What is your favorite Halloween candy or food?

Caramel apples and BarwanBrack ( I love getting the ring out of it)

9) What is your favorite scary movie?

Favourite scary scary movie would have to be " One Missed Call" (its really creepy though) but favourite Halloween movie, without a doubt is Hocus Pocus!

10) Are you the prankster or the prankee?

Never really have pranks at Halloween, but I imagine I would be the prankee..

11) Do you believe in ghosts?

Nope.

12) What is your favorite Halloween memory?

Going trick or treating with all the kids from my road in a big group and going back to one of the houses for party and did "money bobbing" and trying to take a bite from an apple hanging from the stairs.. Those were always the best! :)

My Everyday Make-Up Routine

Hey guys, as you can see from the title this post is going to be my everyday make up routine! :) Hope you enjoy.

To start off I wash my face and do my skin care routine ( this will be a separate post coming in the next few days).

Before

Firstly I add a primer to my face. If you follow my Instagram you will know I recently purchases the Seventeen Skin Wow Primer, so I have been using this. I use a small amount and apply it all over my face. This really helps to keep my foundation on all day and I am really pleased with the product!

Next I apply my foundation, recently I have been using Seventeen's Miracle Matte Foundation. I really like this foundation as it has good coverage and helps even out my skin tone as I have lots of freckles and redness on my face. I also have very pale skin and I found the soft Ivory shade a good match for me.

Next I add my under eye concealer. I use Seventeens Phwoarr Paint under eye concealer in the shade fair as I have light skin. I find this concealer great for covering up under eye circles and I'm very impressed with it so far.

Next I set my foundation and Conceraler using Rimmel London's Clear Complexion powder in translucent. I've been using this powder for a while and I'm still loving it.

Next I add a light contour to my face using this star bronzer from Avon. I'm not sure if this is still available because it is quite old. I contour my cheek bones and add a bit to my temples too.

I then fill in my eyebrows using this Rimmel London eyebrow pencil. I'm looking for a (drugstore) light- medium matte brown eye shadow to use for filling in my brows, any suggestions? Please leave them in the comments below! :)

Finally I curl my eyelashes and add Rimmel London Sexy Curves my mascara in black.

That's what I ware on an every day basis, I will also use BabyLips Intense Care throughout the day to keep my lips soft and hydrated.

If i was going to an event or out I will add eye-shadow, eye-liner and a nice lipstick to this look to glam it up a bit!

Hey guys, today's post is going to be about stress in school and personal lives.

I know many people and possible many of you reading this post right now have experienced times of extreme stress and many of you may suffer from anxiety. I know myself I have awful difficulty stressing about small things and stuff like exams, and if I'm completely honest with you guys I think I may suffer from slight case of anxiety.

Coming up to important exams in school or big events in my personal life I begin to panic and i'm constantly worrying about little details that affect those situations. For instance on Monday last (those of you who follow my twitter may recall me tweeting about how stressed I was) I had my first ever university exam (mind you it was only worth 30% of my final grade I couldn't help but stress hugely over it.

The weekend before my exam I spend almost all day studying for it on Saturday AND Sunday, I couldn't sleep Sunday night worrying about it, which obviously didn't help. On Monday I had 3 hours off from lectures and I began to panic study.. I was frantically flicking though pages in my book trying to memorise every last detail (which is impossible to do, especially if you're panicking) and in the last hour before the exam I felt as though I knew nothing at all. You might know what comes next..

I began to panic really badly, as I was studying with my friend I needed to run off to be alone for a few minutes to try to calm myself down, so I ran off to the bathrooms where I tried to pull myself together slightly before going outside to get some well needed fresh air. This did help to settle me for a little while until we got into the room whee there was about 400 people doing the same exam. Many of you may know what I like to call "The Post Exam Buzz", where everyone is constantly talking and getting settled and trying to predict whats going to come up on the exam. Before, for small class tests I used to actually enjoy chatting among my friends about these things but for bigger and more important exams, I do not! I prefer to be left alone in silence where I can have a few minutes peace before the exam began. So as expected this did not help me in any way shape or form.

Then the exam began.. Well the exam was an exam and as expected, was very difficlut.. But the worst part was when the lecturer decided to tell us there was 5 minutes left when I though we had 20.. So needless to say I did not finish my exam.. Many of you may know the feeling when you come out of an exam that a huge weight was lifted from your shoulders, yeah? Well this was NOT one of them, and being honest I felt slightly worse them i did going in which in never a good thing.

I know many people give the advice of "try not to stress to much over it " or "don't panic it'll all be okay" but if you stress naturally or have anxiety you just cannot help it and sometimes this "advice" just makes you feel worse.

I know its hard to try and relax before a stressful event but please make sure you make time fir yourself, take a few hours out to be alone to just breather and calm your nerves and if its a situation similar to mine where you have an exam try and keep yourself away from people doing the same exam for as long as possible because it will just make you stress more.
